Week 2 in the "No perfect people allowed" series.

Life is like a pile of dirty diapers. Jesus knows that and loves people with messy lives. He can help us clean up our lives, but there's no pre-cleaning necessary. Jesus wants us as we are.

When you serve, you love. When you love, other people feel it. They catch a glimpse of God’s love by you loving them. When you share God’s love, you become a light to the world. As a matter of fact, the Bible says that we are the light of the world, a city on a hill can not be hidden.

In a quiet and an honest moment, many people will ask, “What do you think would happen to me when I die? Where do I stand with God?” It’s a real fear for some – maybe you. “When I die, what’s going to happen to me? Where do I stand with God?”

We often can't help but worry about what others will think of us for the decisions we make. That is not how God wants us to live our lives though. An angel appeared to Joseph before Jesus was born to tell him to stop worrying about what others would think, and we can learn from Joseph's story.

In the Bible, an angel came to Mary and told her God's plan for her life. We may not see an angel telling us God's plan for our lives, but God is asking us to do something. And it may not be what we expect or want, but our job is to obey.
