What have you learned about God from your past experiences and the testimony of others? What have you learned about yourself? As we do life’s journey God doesn’t waste any of our experiences, both good and bad, and He redeems it all so that it shapes us for His purposes.

Your life is part of a metanarrative that God is writing in history. What kind of character and role do you want to play? How do you want to be known and remembered? God invites us to so live that we inspire the generations that follow us to believe and know God.

All our lives we take various risks in order to experience things that we find desirable. We take risks in relationships, physical challenges, vocational opportunities and more. Among the risks we take in order to go deeper with God is living counter-culturally.

Muscles have to be put under stress in order to be strengthened. So it is with faith and character. God is committed to bless us by developing our faith. His commands and our obedience is a primary means of training and empowering our lives.

Are there good reasons to believe God or is it a leap of faith or a step in the dark? The Exodus is arguably the most defining experience of Israel and for contemporary followers of Christ as well.

If God is the most important person in the universe then having relationship with Him would be the most important step of life. Along with the privilege of knowing God there are powerful and profound benefits to knowing God by following Christ. Discover the joy of being a Christ-follower.

The President of the U.S. is arguably the most powerful person in the world. However, the President is not free to do whatever he wants since he can be impeached by Congress. God has no equal, no one to whom He is accountable and is not impeachable. Humanity is blessed because God is not only Sovereign but good.

God’s story is not one of creating and abdicating. Through His covenants God promises to not only be involved in our lives but to bring divine purpose. Literally everything we do and experience in the years of our lives matters and makes a difference.

When entering an agreement with another (a contract, marriage or partnership) the success of the agreement is dependent upon the commitment and trustworthiness of the participants. Examine the Scriptures and reflect on the character of God and His commitment toward us through His covenants.
