From the beginning of Scripture to the end, we can see the thread of TRUST in everything God is calling His people to. The question for every one of us is whether or not we will truly relinquish control and allow the Kingdom of God to move in us and through us!

We are created in God’s image. We are carriers of His glory. Will we wait on God? Will we depend on Him? Will we invite the Kingdom of heaven to earth and truly trust Him?

Nobody set a better example of how to finish well than Jesus. And Jesus didn’t just finish “well”, he finished perfectly. He started perfectly.

What can we learn from the example of Jesus? When we do what Jesus did, we can experience the life he promised. Jesus showed us how to center ourselves on God through his baptism and immediate time of fasting in the desert.

When we center ourselves on God, it requires us to depend on him. When we depend on him more, we get closer to him.

And the closer we get to God, the more like him we become!

What’s the missing ingredient that leads to real transformation?

Paul’s life shows how surrender changes the way we live, serve, and stay faithful over time.

Through prayer, fasting, and commitment, a surrendered life becomes aligned with God’s direction and able to endure challenges while continuing to follow Jesus.
