What is God asking of you? What is he nudging you to do? What step is he asking you to take?

As we close out the series "Faith That Moves", we look at James 5 in which James encourages us all to stay patient, have endurance, stay steadfast, and also to live with eternity in mind.

When you live with eternity in mind, you have faith that moves.

Are you cheating on God?

Are you giving people, places, and things more attention than God?

James tells us what we need to hear, not what we want to hear. We all have blind spots. Nobody wants to be an "enemy" of God. God’s LOVE is unconditional; His CLOSENESS is totally conditional.

Where God moves depends on your move. The Truth only sets you free when you LIVE it!

Words matter.

Your words have a significant impact, not just for now but for eternity. Where are your words taking you? Are they leading you into Faith that moves or are they pulling you from it?

Are your words giving life? Are they poison or are they fruit?

James 3 teaches us that we need to be mindful of what we speak, and not just mindful, but intentional!

If we have the option to speak life or death, we should choose LIFE!

There are 3 different types of faith:

1. Dead Faith

2. Deceptive Faith

3. Dynamic Faith

Where do you land?

How can we live a life of truly DYNAMIC faith where moments lead to movement? We look at what James 2 has to say in the sermon series Faith That Moves!

ENDURANCE.

This is the key to living your purpose!

We overestimate what God can do in the short-term and underestimate what God will do in the long-term.

We are bound to face difficulties and struggles throughout this life. Keep GOING and keep GROWING.

God, why can't I stop messing up? Why do I keep sinning when I have accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior?

Why do I keep struggling with the same issues?

We are in a battle, but not of flesh and blood. You have an enemy who is going to try to attack you from every angle, and as human beings, we are naturally drifting toward what is bad.

Holy Spirit power means nothing unless you allow that power to LEAD you. It's not It's not YOUR strength you need, it's GOD'S!

God, Why Are Young People Leaving Faith?

Frankly, oftentimes the reason why young people leave the faith is due to the example (or lack thereof) being set by those who have gone before them.

It’s critical to model what it looks like to live like CHRIST.

What you do, how you walk the walk matters — eternally.

Young people need a biblical worldview. They need discipline. They need LOVE.

Commit to God wholeheartedly and TEACH the next generation to do the same!

God, why church?

Why is it so important to be part of the church? Why should we come back week after week?

A step toward the church is a step toward Christ. Likewise, a step away from the church is a step away from Christ. The church is the BODY of Christ, his BRIDE! You can’t separate Jesus from his church.

Is the church flawed and messy? Absolutely, because it’s full of people. But Jesus took the blame for all we’ve done wrong and gives us credit for all he did right. And he was perfect! He IS perfect!

We’ll never drift toward Jesus and his mission. Jesus said he would build his church, and you are part of the plan!

God, Why Don’t You Hear Me When I Cry Out to You?

We’ve all felt abandoned at times — even by God. You need to know a powerful truth today — just because you don’t always hear God doesn’t mean God doesn’t hear you!

He hears you. He loves you.

When we cry out, God always responds, and his responses always come from a place of love.

We all need to believe this: God loves me. He wants the best for me. He wants the best for those around me.

So why does God not heal in every situation?

Why does God allow certain things to happen? Why do we not see the healing we read about in Scripture as much today?

We ask the questions, and we look to his word for answers!
