Hi. Spaff here. At 1:06, "Mean Mr. Mustard" is one of the shortest songs in the mix of medleys on the Beatles' Abbey Road album. To vent some political steam, I wrote parody lyrics to it and sent them to Robert. "You want me to record this?" he texted me. Well, sure! So he did, and that was fun, and here it is. The end.

BUT THEN: Robert's friend, guitar player Danny Larsen, a Beatles guy like us, said LET'S RECORD ALL OF SIDE TWO...or at least continue through "Polythene Pam" and "She Came in Through the Bathroom Window." So I wrote the rest of the lyrics (having started them here in the comments) and Robert and Danny got together for a six-hour recording session. And then Devo Spice added our three-song medley to The FuMP Volume 113. And conservatives and liberals lived in peace and harmony forever after.
