Rev. Michael J. Carter is an ordained Inter-faith minister with a Masters of Divinity Degree from Union Theological Seminary in New York City and now serves as the minister for Unitarian Universalist Congregation of The Swannanoa Valley, North Carolina.
A long-time UFO experiencer, Rev. Carter has written numerous articles on UFOs and religion and spoken at UFO Conferences around the country on th subjects of religion, spirituaility, and UFOs. He’s appeared on numerous television shows and documentaries including the Sci-Fi Channel’s Steven Spielberg's production of Abduction Diaries, The Real 4400, Ancient Aliens, as well as UFO’s The Hidden on The Travel Channel. Rev. Carter is also the author of Alien Scriptures: Extraterrestrials In the Holy Bible, A New World If You Can Take It: God, Extraterrestrials and The Evolution of Human Consciousness, God Consciousness: A 30 Day Meditation Manual To God Centered Thinking and The Metaphysics Of Spiritual Healing and The Power of Affirmative Prayer, and Initiation: The Spiritual Transformation of the Experiencer. Since 2016, Eric Mintel has led Eric Mintel Investigates, seeking out strange stories to share with his audiences be they about ghosts, UFO’s, Bigfoot or Dog men. It’s a great program and Eric and his team are outstanding investigators. However, for more than 30 years Eric has been an acclaimed jazz musician performing with his group the Eric Mintel Quartet. He was invited to perform at the White House, in 1998 at the request of President Clinton, and in 2011 for President Obama, and been invited to perform at the Kennedy Center on more than ten occasions. In 2010 he performed at a special concert at the United Nations and otherwise toured and performed all over the country, in concert halls, high schools, libraries, elementary schools, churches, jazz clubs among other venues. He has also been the subject of writeups in numerous newspapers and featured in many interviews on radio shows and podcasts both here and abroad.
