Well this will be the 2nd annual Christmas podcast with the wives. I know they really didn't sound excited to be there but trust me when I say this made their entire year. What could be better than sitting down with the two best husbands a woman could ever want. A lot of things were discussed, some funny, some not so much and others that the boys will say it just ain't true.. lol So sit back and enjoy this inside look at the family and Christmas time.

Being that it is the Christmas season the boys decided to do something a little different in this one and talk about different gift ideas for that special person that loves the outdoors. No they are budget minded so don't think they are talking new rifles or 4X4's. So sit back and listen to them talk about gifts and a few other things.

Although in some places in north Alabama firearm deer season has started for the majority of the state it just came in. Sit with the boys tonight as they talk about their opening weekends hunting adventures and what their plans are for this deer season. The boys talk tonight with Ryan Nordahl. He is the owner of Epic Whitetail Habitat, LLC and the author of the book The No-Till Fall Food Plot Blueprint. Ryan grew up on his grandparents dairy farm. In 2011 he set out to pursue his dream of wildlife consulting. As of 2025 he has helped nearly 1000 clients across 21 states. This book can help the big landowners but is more directed to the smaller guys and how they can improve their small properties using no-till technics. I promise you that you will learn a lot and may just help you have success in the deer woods.

In this episode the boys visit with a long time friend of Anthony's, Donnie McDowell. They go back over 25 years in friendship. Anthony met Donnie when he was a young up and coming guide that was just making his mark on the western big game but still had a passion for whitetails here in the south. Oh did we mention Donnie is a turkey thug? He is and they did talk some turkey while exploring Donnie's fascinating life. Trust me this maybe a long episode but it is one worth the listen. The boys have a conversation with YouTube sensation Matt Dale of Dale Outdoors. Matt has a wealth of knowledge in the deer and turkey world and his instructional and how to videos are what has mad him so popular on his channel. With over 50K subscribers he is doing something right. Well they were supposed to talk deer hunting and some Fall turkey hunting tips and tricks but as usual the conversation went more to Spring and turkeys. Does that surprise you?
