Drop the A, folks: it's time for 'Mechs not mecha. To be honest, I am real hot and cold on BattleTech: on the one hand, it doesn't do MOST of the things I love about mecha, but on the other, it DOES do things I like about both tanks and ground level sci-fi. Despite this, we're here to talk about the Atlas- a machine that, in my opinion, tries too hard to be a normal mecha, ignoring the strengths of BattleTech design. The skull is fun, though.
If you want to find us on Twitter, Dylan is @lowpolyrobot and Six is @sixdettmar. Our opening theme is the Hangar Theme from Gundam Breaker 3, and our ending theme for this episode is Push by Duane Decker from the MechWarrior 4: Vengeance OST. Our podcast art is a fantastic piece of work from Twitter artist @fenfelt. Want to see a list of every unit we've covered from every episode, including variants and tangents? It's right here.
