He is placed on life support and tube-feeding system, and has a less than 1% chance of recovery. Even if he does recover, he will be in a permanent vegetative state. Although his driver's license states that he is a organ donor, there is some uncertainty and his family was unaware of his donor status. They wish to give him a peaceful passing away, and believe the tests needed for organ suitability are too invasive for such a delicate situation; therefore, they opt to revoke the anatomical gift.
