    Jordan Owen with Haiti Air Ambulance stopped by our booth at AMTC 2014. Jordan is the Operations Manager as well as a flight paramedic for the program. We discussed the how Haiti Air was started and what the future holds for the program.

    Also we discussed the volunteer opportunities available for flight crew members that are a part of a CAMTS accredited program. This opportunity allows current clinicians to fly with Haiti Air providing patient care for 7 days. If you are interested please contact Jordan at [email protected].

    In Episode 4 we discussed how TXA is used in the military and how is was introduced to EMS. We also discussed the MATTERs Trial and the Crash 2 Study.

    For this episode Dr. Evans joined us at MedFlight for a company inservice. He spoke about the pharmacology of TXA as well as evidence based practice.
