When a friend asked me to explain why children should be wearing headgear this rugby season, I wrote this blog post⁠ and converted it into this podcast.

Having spent decades watching and writing on rugby union internationally, there isn't a rugby injury I haven't seen or reported on. Not surprisingly, I feel very strongly about helping parents dispel the misinformation in 'parent rugby circles' around protective gear in kids rugby.
