We had the privilege of hearing a special word from one of our elders, Jim Johnston, about being discipled. This prophetic message encouraged us to read the Bible to discover what a TRUE disciple of Christ does. By studying what God says about Himself and becoming a disciple, we will be able to confront the wrong beliefs that we have previously believed and embrace His truth. Jim also encourages each of us to adopt a servant mentality vs. a slave mentality. Slaves do things FOR God, but servants do things WITH God.
