S3 E10 "The Great Debate" - Greatness and what it takes to be great has often been debated. There are many people through various realms and  different fields who are categorized by the masses as " Great". Most of the time it comes from eminence  or recognized superiority, especially within a particular sphere or profession. In todays world the victories are often glorified, mainly due to the new ways technology has made this easy to do. Rarely are the things required behind the scenes to accomplish these feats and success looked into or magnified. On todays show I invite you to take a look behind the curtain, as we dive deeper into a few of the characteristics and ideologies of some of the greats. Warning this is not for the faint of heart as in order to be great its starts at being different from the masses. So Join me as we look at and Debate what it takes to be Great.

S3 E9 Growing Pains - Being a 80's baby I remember the show of the same tittle with Alan Thicke father of talented RnB artist Robin Thicke. Growing pains are an actual thing, and described as a throbbing or aching in the joints or specific muscles. As I came into adulthood I cant remember having any of these at all. There is however another growing pain, one that occurs when you overcome an obstacle, reach a goal, or level up. This can be Financial, Spiritual, or Personal. These are often an obstacle that we must overcome thus placing us at a new level of understanding or capability. Although these are often some of the most difficult things we will encounter in life, the growing pains are necessary, because they allow a break through and success. Who said growth was easy? Who said growth was painless? Some of the biggest breakthroughs  and discoveries from the greatest minds of today came only after pushing themselves to the limit. To grow is necessary in order to adapt and transition seamlessly in an environment that is always moving and evolving. Lets change how we look at these pains by looking at what we are on the other side of them .

S3E8 "Easily I Approach" - Snippet of the show......ENJOY!!!!!!

S3E8 "Easily I Approach" - Everyday can be broken up into individual interactions with other humans. Wisdom and thought before these interactions, along with your principles and other values  allow for us to deal with these interactions easier or harder depending on the for mentioned attributes. On the smaller scale life is about  compromise and negotiation two skills that rather we would like to admit or not either get us through life hustling and bustling or smoothly moving from situation to situation seamlessly. Yet many struggle with successfully or easily navigating these situations. A lot of failures are caused by  poor planning, an inability to adapt and a limited point of view. In 2008 I was a college student doing what college students do. During that time nights were filled with musical anthems that powered us through the night. I can clearly recall running around in an arrogant jokingly way reciting lyrics from one of my favorite song to this day."Im the man round here capiche". Easily I Approach was the name of the song and as I look back at the lyrics in a more cerebral way. It takes approaching situations carefully with skill on order to "Be the man". It's not always about what you can get in the moment, but your overall long term goals. People struggle with this because instant gratification is always the easier and initially better choice when it comes to our reactions, words, and thoughts. In order to to be the man you must look at things from a broad Pov using skills and a knowledge of human instinct others rarely use. So tonight with the help of the video game SONIC we will talk about how to approach things easily in order to get things accomplished.

S3E7- "TP"-

S3E7- "TP"- Tiki Pole. Most people can tell you what it looks like, but let's  look deeper, well lower to be exact. To the bottom piece seems like a sucky job. However it is actually the most important, and on top of that it requires the most selflessness. Not only a bad job, but a hard one. On tonight's episode we are going to take a look at this further, and see how embellishing the role of the bottom on the pole really shoots you to the top. The bottom of the Tiki Pole is responsible for holding up the rest of the tower to be marveled at. It is often over looked and even less appreciated. However with a simple shake or slip the bottom Tiki can send the rest of the pieces into a whirlwind tumbling down. This would  require extremely thick skin  and control of emotions. Now we know this is just a theory, but it often applies to our everyday situations. Rather we like it or not especially in leadership or mentor roles we are often that bottom Tiki. We may not know it but we have more control over outcomes and the reactions of others than we would probably like to acknowledge. In tonight's episode I will bring this ideology  into a clearer view and show how we by being selfless and controlling our emotions and actions are the most important Tiki regardless of initial inspection.

S3E6 "L.O.L" Lens of Love - We are often faced with difficult people, and that's just life. Sometimes they could be so rude, or disrespectful that the first thought in you mind may be "A good telling off could fix this situation". It can often times be not only be justified, its often  the easiest and most present solution in the eyes of most. Well in my time reading the bible and trying to strengthen my relationship with GOD, I keep seeing the same mindset and thought process repeated. Seeing through the eyes of Love and Loving others no matter what. Most of us (Myself included at times) over complicate this process and mindset. It can be even harder to understand in todays world where there's just not enough influence and visibility of people who truly take on that mindset. This is one of the reasons I try to practice and live this way daily. Seeing through eyes of love however doesnt have to be complicated, it just means that we try to  truly empathize, and be forgiving  of others in  them same way GOD continues  to forgive and empathizes with us. You must first truly adopt these values or else to be honest turning the other cheek just wont make sense. When Peter asked Jesus in Matthew 18:21 how many time must he forgive his brother or sister whom sins against him, and if 7 times was enough. Jesus responds as only he can " I tell you not seven times, but seventy- seven times".  When you look at the amount of times GOD was close to being done with us completely and justifiably so, yet choose to show empathy, grace , and forgiveness. Hopefully it will give a new perspective into what it means to be special or Not of this World and how it will always work out.

-S3E5- " Heavy is the Head" - Emotional Intelligence, we often have everyday situations dealing with people we may view as being difficult. Or maybe a situation didnt go your way, or you missed the opportunity of a lifetime. Heavy is the Head  that wears the crown. Emotional Intelligence isn't a new concept. Its not a new idea, its something we ALL have to various degrees. Successful Business owners, Leaders, Innovators, and Groundbreakers all have one thing in common.  Elite level emotional intelligence . If this is your first time hearing this let me tell you , you've been missing out. Ever wonder why some people seem to make friends easier than others , or are always the life of the party with next level social skills. It's because of their elite level of Emotional Intelligence. There are a few different characteristics that strong emotional leaders possess. Self Awareness, above avg Empathy, and being a Self motivator are a few. In this episode I will tell you guys how my promotion at work, as well as a promotion with my personal businesses and music (In the aspect of  getting more interaction and offers than ever) Initially had me hanging my head from being overwhelmed at the sheer volume of responsibilities. I couldn't understand why people couldn't understand the things I thought were obvious and apparent such as delivering on a service I paid a deposit for a month prior after I was promised delivery 4-5 times . Ontop of that I was accused for not being understanding and unreasonable. I couldn't understand how a person who DEMANDS PROMPTNESS took their time responding if they responded at all. As I started to logically work my way through dealing with not only new, but DIFFICULT people and situations. I slowly realized that  if I am the one whos more aware or knowledgeable the heavy lifting mentally would be on me for the most part .I decided to accept and handle things head on. Which amongst other things adjusting my current routine that had become comfortable for one that better fits my current situation. Then it dawned on me what should seem obvious, that for those who want responsibility, or power, money etc. "To whom much is given much is tested ....Heavy is the Head".
