She is the co-founder of Practicing Physicians of America and a board
member of Free2Care—a coalition of 32 member organizations,
representing 8,000,000 Americans, 70,000 of whom are physicians. She
is the principal author of Free2Care’s two position papers
(2019 and 2022) on reducing cost and waste in American healthcare.
In 2023, she served as a visiting fellow at the Independent Women's
