  • Law & Disorders: Mistakes, Malpractice & Good Samaritans
This episode is a flashback to the last official episode Dee & Reesh recorded together in the same room back in 2013 and their guest was none other than Reesh’s younger sister, a Silicon Valley attorney affectionately referred to as "Legally Brown” and “Sisquire” by her older brother :) The episode discusses common Myths about Medical Malpractice, Evidence-Based Medicine vs. Anecdote-Based Medicine & whether or not the Good Samaritan Law actually applies to Doctors! We deliberately rebooted this timeless throwback to foreshadow a new series concept on Medicine ReMixed called “FLAW & DISORDERS,” where we talk to various lawyers in order to bridge the gap on so many fascinating topics involving both Medicine and Law in Popular Culture & Beyond. Enjoy this episode that will likely make you Laugh, Think & Possibly Even Cry!

  • Special: Till Health Do Us Part
In this episode, Big H drops some knowledge about a real condition known as "Broken Heart Syndrome" in a Valentine's Day Edition of our recurring Medicine ReMixed segment "DOCTIONARY" where we define medical stuff in the dopest way possible. Then we play a cut from Jason Silva's YouTube show "Shots of Awe" about falling in love. • Shrink Rap: Loss in Translation
This episode is about Death, Dying & Beyond. Dee Bunked talks about the pioneering studies in near-death by Dr. Elisabeth Kübler-Ross, a Swiss-American psychiatrist famous for her theory on the five stages of grief. Dee also talks about the American Neuroendocrinologist Dr. Robert Sapolsky's ideas about the stress-reducing components involved in the "meta-magical thinking" of religious belief. We also play some cuts from Dr. Dre & Dr. Neil deGrasse Tyson talking about their views on Death. We get some comic relief in this heavy episode from comedian Hannibal Burress telling a story about a very stressful realization he had on a plane one time that caused him to go through the stages of grief. Enjoy!

  • Audiotopsy: Wiggin' Out On Syphilis
What do the phrases "Big Wig" and "Nit Picking" have to do with Syphilis? Dee Bunked lyrically biopsies J. Cole's line on "Dead Presidents II" (The Warm Up Mixtape) in order to explain the surprisingly interesting connection between these random ideas spanning History, Medicine & Hip Hop in this brand new episode of AUDIOTOPSY where we break down medical references in Rap Lyrics. Enjoy! (Audio Clips in this episode: Aziz Ansari on "Scrubs," Hannibal Burress, "My Brother & Me")

  • Shrink Rap: Doc Transformers & Empathy Robots in Disguise
This episode starts with Dee asking Reesh to recall an experience from Medical School of the first time he felt like he really helped a patient, but it had nothing to do with what he learned in Medical School. Continuing with this theme, Dee tells a story later in the episode about spending money out of his own pocket recently to treat a patient that couldn't afford a simple treatment for "Seasonal Affective Disorder." This leads to a discussion about how to improve Healthcare delivery through technology and how the Power of Audio might be a way to scale the unscalable. Finally, we end the episode talking about an email we recently got from a med student who was a former DJ and how we hope to recruit more Medical Artists to the Medicine ReMixed Crew. This is a truly "ear opening" episode. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoyed producing it!
