In this episode we get back to grassroots of why we love dogs - they heal us, ground us and bring out the best in us. We are relaxed and can be ourselves around them. We have the expert on meditating with dogs as our guest. In fact, James Jacobson wrote the book on it!
"I have been interviewed on CNN, appeared on The Tonight Show, and have been written about in national newspapers such as The Washington Post and The Los Angeles Times. I have been a guest on hundreds of television shows, local and nationally syndicated radio programs and podcasts. In addition, I have been on the other side of the microphone as a host and producer for news/talk radio stations. I have been in this field for a while. (When I was just 15, I hosted a weekly teen call-in talk show in Washington, DC.)" James Jacobson
James is also the author of How To Meditate With Your Dog", which landed him a guest appearance on The Oprah Winfrey Show and jumpstarted his success as an author of multiple books. He his the host of The Dog Podcast Network and is a wealth of knowledge on issues relating to cancer in dogs.
This episode is packed with interesting and informative conversations. And it finishes up with a short, yet thought provoking, look into the need to bring holistic approaches, communication and bond back into our relationships with our companion animals.
