As the flower grows, 

From seed to a bloom,

Not once does it make wrong its state. 

It doesn’t waste time,

Longing for what’s next,

It already knows its fate. 

PAUSE

Be gentle with yourself, 

As you make your way through,

This game of life that you play. 

Sometimes you’re a seed,

Other times, you’ve bloomed,

And all of it’s completely okay. 

PAUSE

Let it go, let it be,

Be gentle and strong.

You know, you see,

You’re perfect all along. 

LONG PAUSE

Perhaps there is guilt,

Frustration or pain,

You’re not where you quite want to be. 

No good comes out of, 

Self talk that berates,

Shattering your soul and your dreams. 

PAUSE

Or maybe you push,

To fill up a void,

I’m not enough is carved in your heart. 

But just like the flower,

You’re perfect as is,

A phenomenal piece of art. 

PAUSE

Let it go, let it be,

Be gentle and strong.

You know, you see,

You’re perfect all along. 

LONG PAUSE

Be here and be still,

In sync with your breath,

And listen for whispers inside. 

You know when to push,

You know when to slow,

You know that you’re worthy and wise. 

LONG PAUSE

Now the time comes,

For a gentle embrace,

Loving yourself to your core. 

With gentle, sweet care,

Feel the love grow,

Let it heal and restore. 

PAUSE

Let it go, let it be,

Be gentle and strong.

You know, you see,

You’re perfect all along.
