Invite your body to settle, 

And allow your mind to clear. 

Breathe into this space. 

Expand upon the stillness,

That is always right here,

Sink into this safe space. 

PAUSE

Let your breathing move,

All that’s heavy or dark,

Relax…and let it go. 

Invite yourself inside, 

Embraced by endless love,

As you reflect on long ago. 

LONG PAUSE

The whispers they come,

Reminding you where you’re from. 

Perhaps even tears,

As you sink into past years. 

LONG PAUSE

See if you can imagine,

A moment as a child,

When you stood in shock or pain. 

In this moment you created,

A story about yourself,

It anchored itself in your brain. 

PAUSE

Now imagine that you,

In this moment now, 

Knelt and hugged that child. 

You feel them melt,

Into your arms,

As your love spreads wild. 

PAUSE

Blue light spreads,

Gentle healing threads.

Let the knots unfurl,

Recreate your world. 

LONG PAUSE

See if you can find,

Another moment in time,

When another dark memory was born. 

Now hug them again,

This innocent child,

Until all of the darkness is gone. 

LONG PAUSE

You are loved,

Your are free,

You’re safe in this world, sweet one. 

Let all of those binds,

Unravel and fall,

Let the deep healing be done. 

LONG PAUSE
