Did you know that one 20-minute meditation is the equivalent of four hours of quality sleep?  Or that daily meditation for two months shows great improvement in dura matter quality per brain scans? How about the fact that meditation leads to neuroplasticity; the brain's ability to change (structurally and functionally), allowing it to physically heal and for you to control thoughts, emotions, and behavior? And that meditation actually causes the brain to grow, creating thicker cortical walls which slows the aging process, improves memory, attention, and aids decision making skills? Not a bad way to spend 20 minutes of each day, eh?


In this episode, I talk about the benefits of meditation (mental/psychological/emotional, physiological/physical, and spiritual) - think 'mind, body, spirit', the positive impact on self and relationship, why it's beneficial to meditate together as a couple, and I give you my three favorite meditations (two of which are life-changing), and how meditation impacts marriage and long-term relationships.
