Meditation on SermonAudio

True success, as defined by God, is not found in worldly standards but in faithful obedience to His Word, particularly through consistent meditation on Scripture, which the preacher likens to a cow chewing its cud—repeatedly reflecting to extract deeper meaning and application. The promise of prosperity and good success is directly tied to internalizing and practicing God's commands, not merely knowing them, emphasizing that spiritual vitality requires both contemplation and action. The call to be strong and courageous is grounded in the unwavering presence of God, who walks with His people through every circumstance, offering divine companionship as the foundation of confidence. This message challenges cultural definitions of success by reorienting the believer's focus toward divine wisdom, personal transformation, and faithful living. Ultimately, success is not a destination achieved by human effort alone, but a divine promise fulfilled through a life rooted in Scripture and sustained by God's presence.

Murray lays the groundwork for the meditations that will follow on this serious subject.

"Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the path of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful; but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night." Psalm 1:1-2, NKJV
