00 Meditation Q&A

13 Welcome
50 There is a lot of stress, restlessness, and distraction during the practice in the evening and rather than always noting it and continuing to practice, I may stand up and fulfill the craving before the bell rings at the end of the session. What should I do?
26 While doing sitting and walking sessions, at what point should one decide to stop the formal practice (walking or sitting)?
13 When I note the rising and falling of the abdomen, it's impossible to finish the word before something new happens (hearing, thinking...). Do you have advice?
04 I'm feeling trapped, I feel no drive to work to spend day after day earning a living. Embracing Buddhism seems the right direction but not practical in my circumstance, what do I need to do?
44 When your attention is focused on the abdomen (anchor), is it correct, at the same time, to be aware of the whole feeling of the body sitting (proprioception of the body) in the background constantly?
32 How does one know if they are practicing correctly?
49 After noting for a while I have noticed that it's like the senses are separate and independent of one another. For example, when I note seeing, a feeling arises and is independent from the seeing. Is this correct?
12 I spend a lot of time alone indoors, often with a family pet. I've begun practicing meditation and feel a sense of peace but also of isolation. Should I be leaving the house more? If so, where to?
42 I have a tendency of just reacting to questions asked of me. Any recommendations for catching myself and responding with more meaningful and honest answers when interacting with people?
33 Meditating outside has increased my motivation to meditate a lot since I got a meditation tent to avoid insects. Is it recommended to meditate outside in nature rather than indoors?
17 I experience confusion while noting. For instance if I think about walking somewhere I might note “walking” instead of “thinking”. Any advice how to become more precise in the noting practice?
52 What should we do when we die? Should we just keep noting what's most prevalent, for as long as possible?
30 Do you have any tips on how to establish a momentum of mindfulness? How can I be mindful in every moment without a break, and not forgetting to be mindful? Is it possible to do this before becoming a sotapanna?
31 Can mindfulness help with a tendency to go to extremes, such as with food, entertainment, exercise, even meditation? I swing between going overboard and obsessing or avoiding altogether. How can I find a balance?
35 Why is art, like painting and writing, not allowed for monks/folks who wish to pursue the path?
17 If self identity is false what is then the entity that subjectively experience life? what does "I" mean when we say for example "I'm hungry" etc.. ?
39 How should I communicate about my meditation practice to my friends and family? I'm afraid they might see me as weird.
40 What does Buddhism suggest we do or not in regards to creation? For example, building a home in a video game such as Minecraft? Is this in line with the values or do we lose touch with reality?
