1 Corinthians 15:12-14 (KJV)
Now if Christ be preached that he rose from the dead, how say some among you that there is no resurrection of the dead? [13] But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen: [14] And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.
Summary:
In this episode, we reflect on 1 Corinthians 15:12–14 and why the resurrection of Jesus is the foundation of the Christian faith. Paul reminds us that without the resurrection, preaching and faith would be empty—but because Christ is risen, our hope is living, our salvation is secure, and our future is filled with promise.Key Points:The resurrection is central, not secondary, to the gospel.
- If Christ were not raised, faith would be empty and meaningless.
- The resurrection confirms Jesus’ identity and victory over sin and death.
- The empty tomb gives believers living hope for today and eternity.
- Because Jesus lives, our faith has substance, power, and purpose.
