MEEPER SEEDS.
Too Easy.
Sometimes albums are made for Roadrunner... and not released?
HUH?! WHAT'S THAT MEAN?!
In the mid 2000s the label was going through a boom and signing lots of bands since Roadrunner had recently been caught by the coyote that was Island Def Jam essentially making the bird a major label with that major label money and a huge mainstream hit with Nickelback.
In 2003, Ether Seeds, was set to release their self titled debut album on Roadrunner Records. The Seeds were a band fronted by Dustin Lowery who was then and still is now brothers to Clint Lowery of Sevendust fame and Corey Lowery who is currently in Seether but did time in Stuck Mojo, Stereomud and others.
The band were signed to the label, recorded the album, and weeks before it was set to release... were dropped! And the album never came out. They weren't the only band on Roadrunner or in the music industry to suffer that fate by any means but certainly one of the more head scratching with not only a strong pedigree but a great record behind it!
Dustin was generous enough to tell us the story of the band's entire life on this episode and while you know the ending, the episodes in between are pretty fascinating.
So save your own life... and listen now!!!

GET MEEP TO GO.
Oh sorry...I didn't mean to startle you but we're talking about the 2003 album by tha band To My Surprise, 20 years after it's release.
To My Surprise is a fascinating, although be it short lived, project, probably most known for being the side project of Slipknot mastermind and percussionist Shawn Crahan who not only thought it was fun to create with Crayola...but also with renowned producer and former owner of Smokey Mountain Wrestling... RICK RUBIN. That's right, this self titled album was produced by Rick and would be the first time these two would work together, pre-dating even Slipknot's Volume 3 record which Rick also helmed.
Shawn was not alone however; Early Slipknot member and current successful producer in his own right, Brandon Darner, was the Crahan Collaborator for this opus and would help it sound like nothing else Slipknot or any of their off-shoots ever created and that's who we're talking to on this very special episode.
Brandon tells us all about his relationship with Shawn, tha idea for the band, making tha album with Rick Rubin, his band tha Envy Corps and even early days with Slipknot playing with THE URGE.
All this and nothing else on an all new Meep Meep!

Producer Dave Fortman (Evanescence, Mudvayne) of Ugly Kid Joe riffage was brought in to continue tha career of tha Nine and found himself in tha middle of a war while half tha band worked on a separate album simultaneously of what we refer to now as "Look Outside Your Window."
Tha results? A timeless classic and end of an era and you can hear all about it NOW!!!

25 years ago Fear Factory released their possibly perfect follow up to their defining work, "Demanufacture" in tha form of a GOLD SELLING dystopian concept album of banger after banger called OBSOLETE...or "°BSΩLE+e" if you're annoying.
Burton C. Bell, tha voice of Fear Factory for over 30 years, tells us everything from expectations going in, revelations coming out, and unlikely inspirations in between.
We're also blessed by a cameo from Madchild, formerly of Swollen Members, who helped form one of FF's most iconic tracks.

On this exciting conclusion to SPIDER-MANIA which began on episodes with Josey Scott about tha song "HERO" and Cone from Sum 41 on "What We're All About", your host Ryan Rainbro (star of HBO's Righteous Gemstones) takes you through every remaining song on this soundtrack, karaokes a couple of them, explains how ringtones work and who Default is, and expands on Corey Taylor's headgear choices over tha years.
BUT THAT'S NOT ALL! Andy Ellis of tha band Black Lab tells us all about their song on tha soundtrack and tha crazy Aerosmith-related story as to how it went from being tha lead track off tha record to never even released as a single.
Also! Is Tobey Maguire tha same person as Jerry Maguire?! There's only one or two ways to find out but this one involves Jerry Cantrell!
