We fight to save our beautiful city from monstrous aliens, and then venture off through the fantasy realm of Terrinoth to fight monsters. Starting to see a theme here. Anyway, we flip our way through the island of Tucana, searching for treasures. Jessica and Lyric take us on a treasure hunting adventure where they must...fight... ghosts. Hmm. And finally, we create epic heroes and take them on mighty battles to fight.... monsters... and minions... and fiends... yeah, definite theme today.

We talk about our tricks for learning new games... or perhaps our struggles...
We are going to begin... or actually continue... the daunting task of Terraforming the Red Planet. We fight to escape an unnatural labyrinth of tunnels that continue to change on us. We travel through time in an attempt to set things right. We delve into a dungeon where trusting your friends may not be all it's cracked up to be. And finally, we take some time to relax, enjoy the lake, make us some s'mores, and just maybe, make some new friends at summer camp! BUT... our peace does not last long, as Jessica and her daughter take us on an adventure to secure the right mixture of magical components they need. We venture off into a new star system in hopes of forming new colonies and saving the human race but instead find ourselves fighting for survival... and control. And finally... back here on Earth, we compete to rebuild the failing rail systems in Berlin, hoping to escalate the city (and ourselves) to a new level of success.

Jessica takes us to the Kids Table to rescue and rearing baby monsters.

This week, it is just me and Greg. Since I missed the episode last month where we listed off our 5 favorite games from childhood, Greg decided this episode would be all about ME! So today I... well, WE, are going to go through my favorite abstract games. However, he decided I couldn't use it if I had already talked about it in a previous episode, which means I can't talk about New York Zoo, one of my favorite polyomino games, or Calico, one of my favorite tile-laying games.

In this episode, we go back to the basics and just talk gameplays! Lyric joins us for Kids Corner, and we all come together to battle the Dead King and we dive into the cooperative hero-building adventure game HexPlore It - Valley of the Dead King.

In this episode, Greg is joined by 4 special guests to reminisce about the games we played as kids. Even though I was unable to join the recording, I have given my list to him, though I know he will rag on it, so don't listen to anything he says, unless he surprises me and it's good stuff... then you can listen. One item of business I want to bring up before I hand things off to Greg because I know he will forget to mention it later is that due to the fact 3 of the 4 of us have to miss this episode, we are extending the deadline to sign up for our BGG contest to win a copy of Pandemic Legacy, Season 1. We are going to do some time travel. We will travel to the year 79 AD, and attempt to escape the eruption of Mount Vesuvius, all while choosing which of our friends to outrun.
We are going to travel back to the year 1900 to solve a crime, and then to the Caribbean to board a pirate ship for some swashbuckling fun. We will travel to a wonderful little kingdom and join the fight for the throne.
We are going to join the fight for allied victory in World War II, and finally, we are going to visit an ancient city in an effort to encourage the four guardians to reignite the bonfires that extinguished long ago.
