  • Distant Episode 111 / October 2026
Life can be a lot sometimes. There are moments when everything seems to fall into place, when you’re at the top, enjoying life and feeling like you can take on anything. And then, sometimes, you find yourself at the bottom again, looking up at a mountain you have to climb.
For me, that’s how life works. Like a wave, up and down, constantly moving. We can’t really change that. What we can change is how we look at those moments.
When you’re at the bottom, it can be hard to imagine being back on top. But you will. Maybe not tomorrow, maybe not the day after that, and maybe the climb will take much longer than you hoped. But you will get there. Sometimes you just need to be brave enough to tell yourself: I will get there. No matter how long it takes.
And maybe that’s what this month’s episode is about. A little reminder that wherever you are in the wave right now, it won’t stay there forever.
    Hope you enjoy <3

  • Distant Episode 110 / September 2026
I’ve been away for a little bit, touring Canada and the US for the first time, but also taking some time to reset. It was such a privilege to travel the world again and meet so many amazing people who make this scene truly special.
For the first time in a while, I felt like I could really be present while travelling. Not constantly busy with work, life or the future. But actually taking in where I was, nature, the people I met, and all the moments in between. I also used the time to mentally prepare for the months ahead, which are both incredibly exciting and, I’m sure, going to be quite challenging. But I am so ready!
It’s been such a great and inspiring summer. Thank you to everyone who came out to dance, shared a moment with me, or simply listened to the music. I’m incredibly grateful for all of it. Even though the summer season is coming to an end, luckily there’s still a lot to look forward to this year. Can't wait so share it with you.
Two new releases are coming your way. Constellations with Linney is out today, and my remix of Remember by Paradoks is coming soon. Both are included in this month’s episode, and I’m very happy to finally release them out in to the world.
    Hope you enjoy <3

  • Distant Episode 109 / August 2026
There are moments when I look around and see people from different countries, different cultures, different backgrounds, all dancing to the same melodies and sharing the same feeling. Music is such a strange and beautiful thing. It doesn’t really care where you’re from or what language you speak. Somehow it finds a way to connect us anyway. To create a space where, for a little while, complete strangers become part of the same story.
The fact that music allows me to experience this around the world, and with so many different people, is something I’ll never get my head around. No matter where I am, that sense of connection always feels the same. That’s what made me fall in love with music, and it still does.
Thank you for making this scene what it is. Thank you for welcoming me wherever I go, for listening, for dancing, and for sharing these moments with me. I feel unbelievably lucky to be a small part of it.
Here’s this month’s episode. Hope you enjoy ❤

  • Distant Episode 108 / July 2026
Nine years. It almost feels strange to write that down. When I started Distant, I never imagined it would become such a constant in my life. Another episode every single month. Through exciting times, difficult ones, moments full of inspiration and moments where I honestly didn’t know what I wanted to do. Somehow, music was always there, and so were you.
Looking back, I don’t think Distant has ever really been about the numbers. Not the episodes, the streams or the years. It’s about creating a place we can return to. Create a small moment each month, discover new music and something to share together. Knowing that so many of you have made it part of your own lives still means the world to me.
Thank you for being here, whether you’ve been listening since the beginning or only just found it.
    Hope you enjoy ❤

  • Distant Episode 107 / June 2026
The last few weeks have been a bit of a blur. A lot of shows, new music being released, upcoming releases to prepare for, and a handful of new projects that I’m really excited about. It’s the kind of period you’ve been looking forward to for a long time. Getting to share music, visit new places, and see this little world we’ve built continue to grow. In many ways, it’s exactly what I hoped it would be.
At the same time, I’ve noticed something else. The more things there are to do, the easier it becomes to move straight from one thing to the next without really taking any of it in. One show ends and you’re already preparing for the next. A release comes out and your mind is already focused on the one after that. Somewhere along the way, it becomes surprisingly difficult to simply enjoy the things you’ve been working so hard for.
I’m not very good at saying no to opportunities. Partly because I’m genuinely excited about all of it, but also because I always want to do my best for everyone involved. Whether that’s the people I work with, the events inviting me to play, or all of you listening and supporting this journey. I’m getting better at juggling all those different things, but I’m also learning that being present for them is just as important as making them happen in the first place. Otherwise, everything starts to feel like a checklist instead of the adventure it was meant to be.
There’s a lot to look forward to this month. A new collaboration at the end of June, which I’ve included in this episode, Distant Moments this weekend, and of course festival season ramping up all around us. For now though, maybe this hour can be a small excuse to slow things down for a moment and simply enjoy where you are.
    Hope you enjoy ❤️

  • Distant Episode 106 / May 2026
The festival season is finally here, and I can feel that shift in energy again. Longer days, warmer weather, everything slowly coming back to life. It always brings a different kind of excitement with it.
These past months have been really special. Being able to release new music again means a lot to me, especially together with such incredible artists. There’s something about creating music together that keeps surprising me every time, you never really know where it will take you, but somehow it always ends up exactly where it needs to be.
Looking ahead, there are so many shows coming up that I’m genuinely excited for. Some new, some familiar, but all of them I can’t wait to experience with you. It feels good to step into this season with so much to look forward to.
Hope to see you out there somewhere. And until then, I hope you enjoy this month’s episode ❤

  • Distant Episode 105 / April 2026
After a little break between shows, it always feels a bit unfamiliar to step behind the decks again. Not because it’s been that long, but because playing your music in front of people is such a super special feeling. Something day to day life, and the time in between, doesn’t really compare to. It reminds me of coming back from a holiday, sitting down at your desk, staring at your screen and thinking, "ok… so how do I do this again?"
Nothing has really changed. It’s not something you unlearn in a few days. You just need a moment to find your rhythm again, to reconnect with it. But that small gap, between not quite knowing what you're doing and everything clicking back into place, that’s the part that makes me a little nervous every time. At the same time, I know that once I’m up there, surrounded by all of you, it will feel exactly how it’s supposed to. Like it always does. And honestly, that’s the part I’m looking forward to the most.
But until that moment is here, I hope you enjoy this month's episode ❤

  • Distant Episode 104 / March 2026
I've been working on a lot of exciting things lately. The kind of projects that make you want to rush through and skip to the good part. Working through all those different projects and tasks, I notice like I'm running on autopilot. I seem focused, like getting loads more done in less time, but honestly, I'm just way more impatient than usual. My attention span has shrunk and it feels almost impossible to really sit down with something. Whether that's work, or me trying not to work.
I can see where all of this is heading, and it looks incredible. I just want it to be here already. The process feels like it's in the way. Which it isn't, of course. If I want to do this right, and I really do, then rushing through it would just mean arriving somewhere I'm not fully proud of. It's more important to do it right than to do it quickly. I have to keep reminding myself of that, and try to slow down enough to actually be present for it.
So maybe we start here. Try to listen through this month's episode as a whole. No skipping, no shuffling. Just sit down with it, let it play, and see where it takes you. Hope you enjoy ❤️
ps. one of these tracks will be released in 3 weeks.

  • Distant Episode 103 / February 2026
This year is starting out great. It feels really good so far, and it’s made me excited for everything that’s still coming. One of the reasons is that the first release of the year, Into The Light with Tyler Mann, is out today.
There’s more on the way too, five more releases over the next six months, and even more after that. I feel really grateful for the people I got to work with in the previous year, and for the music that came out of those moments. There’s something really beautiful and unpredictable about making music together and seeing where it takes you. These songs are a result of that.
I’m honestly really proud of these songs, and it feels amazing to finally share them. This month’s episode includes some of them. Hope you enjoy ❤️

  • Distant Episode 102 / January 2026
Before anything else, I want to say thank you, for the support, the messages, the energy, and the moments we shared last year. None of this exists without you.
Looking back at 2025, it was a year that started out with uncertainty, writer's blocks and doubt. Searching for that peculiar balance between creativity and business. Some soul searching later, I realised that music will always be the fabric of this whole adventure, creating music that I truly love. Knowing it resonates with you makes every step that much more meaningful. This will be, without a doubt, the most important goal for the new year.
As this new year begins, I feel a sense of clarity and purpose. I have a desire to create and build that space where we can slow down together, be present and let the music speak without distraction.
On that note, here's the first episode of the year, with some new music that will come your way soon. I promise. Hope you enjoy <3
