It has not been my best year, as it was for most. It was definitely a rough one, full of anxiousness, uncertainty and doubt. I have had trouble staying motivated and focussed at times, but still you stuck around and supported me throughout the year. For that I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart. Thank you for making parts of this year unforgettable and so undeniably precious.

Standing at the edge of the new year, I am hopeful for better times and motivated to give it my all. I feel blessed to have the opportunity to create and share my music and I will do so for as long as I’m able to.

When we keep plunging in and out lockdowns like this, it's hard to find positivity. I read something the other day that has inspired me greatly: "Where one door closes, another opens". I think we've all heard it once or twice before. But this time it made so much more sense to me. Instead of working against the situation, we can work with it. Putting our energy in new creative solutions, new initiatives. There is no point in wasting your energy on things we have no control over. Of course, easier said than done, but the idea sounds beautiful! Maybe this months episode can give you a little pick-me-up, a little positivity or little boost towards that idea, as I tried to pack as much good vibes as I could find into this new episode. Enjoy! Last few weeks were absolutely brilliant! I finally got to host another Distant event, again selling out the amazing Marktkantine, we had the chance to come together at Amsterdam Dance Event again, one of the most powerful events of the year, and in between all that I was lucky enough to move in to my beautiful new apartment. I feel extremely blessed at the moment! I hope I can share some of that feeling with you through this Distant episode. Enjoy <3

It feels amazing to be behind the decks again! The feeling is indescribable. But, the ability to host TWO Distant events this weekend is absolutely mind blowing! It's an honour to have Sascha Braemer and Bebetta playing their music in De Marktkantine on Saturday and playing all day at the beach on Sunday to top it off. To also have ADE on the horizon fills my heart with joy. I hope to see all of you on the dance floor. If not, I hope you enjoy this months Distant Episode!

We are already at episode 50.. That's insane! We wanted to do something special for this enormous milestone, but we'll save that for our next Distant event, planned for December this year. It's crazy how time has been passing me by lately. Almost as if my life has been paused in time. I got pretty caught up in life, almost losing sight on what really matters to me, what drives me: pursuing my dream of making and sharing my music with all of you. But, after a well needed break, in the beautiful country of Portugal, if feel refreshed and full of motivation again! Super excited for what is yet to come! I do have some very special news coming your way in the next few months, so stay tuned and, as you know, surrender to the distance ❤️

We got a little glimpse, of about two weeks, of how things used to be here in the Netherlands. It was both wonderful, exciting and motivating. Yet, sad and devastating at the same time. To see the power that music has and how much it effects our lives, for it to be hit so during this pandemic, absolutely pains me. However, it taught me one important thing. Music will always survive and always bounce back. No matter what. Hope this episode will radiate some of that power over to you. Enjoy <3

It is finally happening, the festival season is starting! With my first show of the summer tonight, I actually feel nervous again. It's weird to think it has been so unbelievably long since I could play music again in front of a dancing crowd. BUT I'm SUPER excited to see you all again! Slowly, but surely, festival dates are finding their way back into my summer schedule. Things might finally start to look a little brighter. I can't stress enough how much I miss to meet you, see you dancing, to enjoy music in its most powerful form together.
