Wisconsin’s 80th Assembly District covers the area southwest of Madison, including Mt. Horeb, New Glarus, and Monticello (see the full map here).

Today on the show, we meet the two Democratic candidates running for this seat: first, incumbent Sondy Pope, followed by challenger Kimberly Smith.

Wisconsin is holding its partisan primary election on Tuesday, August 11. The general and presidential election will be held on Tuesday, November 3. More information from the Wisconsin Elections Commission here.
