The breath of Spring was whispering in the trees, but here comes winter, back with a vengeance.  Thanks Groundhog Phil.  It's all your fault.  The great orange one is back in the news, on trial for the second time for not living up to the office he was elected to.  The argument of Constitutionality can be disproven by my high school civics students.   And speaking of students, what is all this hate directed at teachers about?  Once upon a time we were called essential and praised for doing our job.  But we start to question the safety of opening schools now, and we are the villains.

On today’s episode, we delve into pop culture and the distractions from the pandemic.  The Superbowl came and went, with little more than a rumble.  But there were some pretty good commercials, and should they have had 21,000 fans in the stands?  New movies, tv shows, good books....so much to talk about.

We did it, 2020 is over and everything is better now in 2021………..Or is it? On today's episode, we talk about what we are watching.  We analyze our feeling of watching a White Nationalist Insurrection occur at our Nations capitol.  Should schools reopen?  Why not wait for the vaccine to be available for every one in Education? We should listen to the doctors!  Also, learn about the joys of co-teaching about Justice and all the amazing things we've learned. Did we just cross the finish line of 2020? Is the orange Cheeto villain about to be vanquished? Is there hope for 2020 after all? Maybe. After what felt like a marathon of politics and another marathon election day, we finally have a new president elect and we all finally remembered what deep breaths and sleep felt like. But the holidays are right around the corner, and Covid-19 is on the rise again. What does that mean for celebrations and the rest of 2020? We’ll discuss. Oh, and women are making history in politics and in sports.
