In this episode, we meet with Andrew Neilson. He has worked within the procurement and supply chain arena for nearly 30 years in various senior global roles across years. A chartered Fellow of both the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply and the Chartered Institute of Logistics and  transport, he is recognised for both his achievements as well as his industry leading knowledge within procurement, supply chain and  logistics. In addition to the above, Andy was elected to CIPS Congress and is an ambassador for the Sustainable Procurement Pledge. He has taken those many years of corporate experience into providing  expertise to clients of any size with end-to-end commercial, sourcing, procurement, supply chain and logistics solutions on a global basis. In addition, Andy offers both procurement and sales training, designed to deliver high impact learnings specific to relationship management, value  release and project delivery.

He is a Zambian national based in Rome, at the World Food Programme headquarters, where he is responsible for procurement to support food and financial aid to over 100 million people in distress, in 84 countries, with an annual spent of USD$ 4 Billion for the World Food Programme. WFP is a UN agency for provision of food. He started his career in finance and transitioned to supply chain. Channon relies on his questioning skills to understand stakeholders needs resulting in problem solving. He makes an interesting connection between ethics and value for money.
