Meet Me in Isaiah

Hebrews 4:12 says that the Word of God is living and active and that's how our guest, Kathryn Hall experienced Isaiah 54. Kathryn is a coach for small groups at Church of the Highlands and co-owner, along with her husband Nathan, of Wasabi Juan's downtown Birmingham location. Kathryn shares a powerful story of God's restoration of her marriage and His faithfulness to shower her with His love during those broken years of waiting.

Isaiah 53, the passage that predicts Jesus’ suffering, death, and resurrection, begins with a promise. When we are called to something, God often gives us a promise, which many times, is followed by an attack of the enemy. God is always faithful to rescue, and then gives us a story to share with others who also suffer.

We are all addicted to something and most of us are addicted to many things so we need a Messiah to rescue us.

"Is anyone thirsty? Come and drink - even if you have no money! Come, take your choice of wine or milk - it's all free! Why spend your money on food that does not give you strength? Why pay for food that does you no good? Listen to Me, and you will eat what is good. You will enjoy the finest food." Isaiah 55:1-2
