What’s up. My name is Tim Hunt, and you are listening to the Meet Me in the Middle podcast. I am a 27-year-old African American police officer, father, and husband.

I created this podcast because I believe some of the biggest things we lack in society are tolerance, patience, and empathy. My hope behind the podcast is to engage with people from a multitude of backgrounds and disciplines in hopes of gaining perspective. Some of our conversations will be heavy, and we’ll challenge the way we think about things. And some of it will be light. We’ll talk about everything from police-community relations to marriage to fatherhood.

I’m not a guru, and I don’t know everything. But I hope that you’ll take this journey with me and Meet Me In the Middle.
