I've had many awkward and honestly soul-defeating experiences with hair stylists over the years. It took me a long time to understand how important it is to have someone I have fun with and feel safe around work with me.

The process itself takes hours, and is actually quite vulnerable. Those like me who rarely leave the house due to crippling anxiety need a person who truly accepts us as we are.
