In this episode, Cris Rivers & Mændy Mac interview Pole Entrepreneur & Coach, Adémigua about her pole dance journey, learn where to take classes with her, and all about her fun textile and yarn business Pillow Fight.
BIO:
Adémigua has had a lifelong love affair with movement. She became a dance professional at 19yrs old and traveled the U.S. and abroad performing In different dance troupes and theatre companies. She was originally trained in Ballet and Bharatanatyam and later Circus Arts including sideshow acts featuring fire and snakes.
She later joined the pole community developing her personal pole style modeled after movement meditations she used during her time as a strip club worker. After leaving the performance world she began teaching her skills to others, training the next wave of professionals. Her passion is working with beginners and helping them find their own style.
She believes strongly in being an instructor that supports and motivates her students on their dance journey while building confidence and developing a sense of playfulness.
