Gina Mariko Rosales is an events enthusiast, self-proclaimed efficiency nerd, experience curator, and nonprofit advocate. She is the Founder & Chief Experience Officer (CEO) of Make it Mariko, as well as the Co-Founder & Event Producer of the well-known UNDISCOVERED SF Creative Night Market in SOMA Pilipinas. Prior to founding Make it Mariko, Gina spent 10 years doing corporate & nonprofit event planning, administration, and operations including 7 years working for Google, most recently as the Head of Marketing Events for Google X. 

Gina’s mission is to curate magical, meaningful moments for the community while amplifying the voices of creatives of color. She is committed to curating creative, inclusive, and diverse spaces in the events industry, to challenge the status quo, and pave the way for a new generation of event experience curators.

Shaka Senghor is a writer, entrepreneur, inspiring speaker, leading voice in criminal justice reform, and President of Shaka Senghor Inc.   He is the former President of The Anti-Recidivism Coalition (ARC) and President / Creative Director of Inside The Cell, LLC. His memoir, Writing My Wrongs: Life, Death and Redemption in an American Prison, was released in March 2016 and debuted on The New York Times Best Seller List and The Washington Post Best Seller List.   Shaka is a former MIT Media Lab Director’s Fellow, and a former Fellow in the inaugural class of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation’s Community Leadership Network. Shaka’s 2014 TED Talk was featured in their “Year in Ideas” roundup, a curated collection of the years most powerful TED Talks and has over 1.5 million views.   Shaka is the recipient of numerous awards, including the 2012 Black Male Engagement (BMe) Leadership Award, the 2015 Manchester University Innovator of the Year Award, the 2016 FORD Man of Courage Award, and the 2016 NAACP Great Expectations Award.   He was recently recognized by OWN (the Oprah Winfrey Network) as a “Soul Igniter” in the inaugural class of the SuperSoul 100, a dynamic group of trailblazers whose vision and life’s work are bringing a higher level of consciousness to the world around them and encouraging others to do the same.   Shaka is a 2016 Ebony Magazine Power 100 Honoree. He has taught at the University of Michigan and shares his story of redemption around the world.   Shaka Senghor was selected as one of 24 icons being featured in the upcoming Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service entitled, Men of Change debuting in the Fall of 2019.

Since making history as the first and youngest female champion in the Skip Barber Racing Series at age 14, Julia has amassed dozens of wins in many different racing series. After becoming the first woman to win a NASCAR Track Championship at Motor Mile Speedway in her division in 2015, Julia graduated to the televised NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2016. She became the first woman to lead a lap in the Canadian NASCAR Pinty’s Series. In 2020, Julia competed in the NASCAR Euro Series where she finished 5th, the highest for an American ever.
