Matt and Maria are forced to replan the proposal, because a storm is hitting Miami and it can no longer take place outside. As a result, Matt is specing more time on his phone making Alexa very Mad because they went to Miami to bond and spend quality time together. Little does she know she is about to experience the most beautiful proposal! Three months after the proposal, Alexa is second runner up in the Miss Rhode Island pageant.

Matt and the family all flies to Florida for a secret and elaborate surprise engagement for Alexa. Matt puts Maria in charge after his mom almost gives away the surprise with a post on Twitter. Alexa keeps telling Matt to get off the phone, but little does she know he is in the middle of scheduling out lots of surprises for Alexa and his proposal. A storm came in and now threatens to ruin the proposal.

In episode 7 of Meet The Frasers Matt helps his parents move back into their old house after the mold is remedied. He is also asked to MC the fashion show that Alexa is walking in and she warns him not to steal her thunder. He behaves during the fashion show, but the parents are the ones who cause a rukus by screaming. In Episode 8 Matt decides to propose to Alexa and is upset when his mom is not excited for him. He goes ring shopping with mom and sister. Then he has to convince Alexa to go to Florida where he wants to propose since she wanted to stay home for pageant prep.
