Rocking new podcast swag, the guys break down a brutal Winter Break for the Mets and an offseason that’s moving at a snail’s pace. In this reaction episode of Meet the Mets Fans, Stefan breaks down the Mets trading Jeff McNeil to the Oakland Athletics in exchange for right-handed pitching prospect Yordan Rodriguez.

The move clears $10 million from the 2025 payroll and marks another definitive step in David Stearns’ teardown of the old Mets core. With McNeil gone, the last remnants of the previous era are officially wiped away.

Is this a necessary reset?
Is Stearns finally building the Mets in his own image?
And why did this move feel inevitable — even overdue?

Raw reactions, honest frustration, and clear-eyed analysis as the Mets enter a new chapter.

The Mets made a move — and Justin had to react.

In this solo episode of Meet the Mets Fans, Justin breaks down the Mets signing Jorge Polanco to a 2-year, $40 million contract and what it says about the direction of the team under David Stearns. Is this a smart bounce-back signing or another risky bet for a roster still finding its identity?

Justin dives into Polanco’s fit in the Mets’ infield, the financial commitment, and what this move could mean for the rest of the offseason as the Mets continue reshaping the roster.

From OMG to WTF… Mets fans are still trying to process what just happened.

In Episode 11 of Meet the Mets Fans, Sid, Justin, and Stefan react to the aftermath of the Winter Meetings and what now feels like a full-scale gutting of the Mets. This isn’t a simple roster shakeup — the core is gone, Pete Alonso is gone, and David Stearns officially has a blank slate.

We hear directly from Mets fans still reeling from the Alonso departure, reflect on how quickly optimism turned into disbelief, and break down what Stearns’ vision might look like now that the team has been torn down. Plus, we dive into the latest chaos in our Group Chat Headlines segment as fan emotions continue to boil over.

If you’re a Mets fan feeling confused, angry, or just exhausted… you’re not alone.

Edwin Díaz is heading to the Dodgers, and Mets fans have thoughts. Stefan, Justin, and Sid break down the contract details, why Díaz never circled back to the Mets, and what this means for the bullpen and the offseason ahead.

We share real fan reactions from Samira, Patch Man Phil, Shaun in Wantagh, Cory from Nyack, Joey Bo, and Anthony from Fresh Meadows. Plus, we recap David Stearns’s biggest takeaways from SNY — including his comments on Pete, trade buzz, and staying disciplined at the Winter Meetings.

If you're a real Mets fan looking for clarity, therapy, or both… hit play.

The MLB Winter Meetings are here, and chaos is already brewing. In Episode 9 of Meet the Mets Fans, Stefan and Justin break down the biggest story shaking Queens: Devin Williams is officially a New York Met. What does this mean for Edwin Díaz and the back end of the bullpen?

We also share real fan reactions from every corner of Mets fandom — Geno, Stevie, Connor, Mike, Reiko, and Joe — as we explore why this move has the fanbase buzzing.

We preview all the Winter Meetings madness in our Group Chat Headlines segment, where we react to the actual screenshots lighting up our Mets group chat all week. Rumors, trade targets, Passan bombs… nothing is off the table.

To wrap things up, we play the Mets GM Game, reviewing who’s still available and debating how the Mets can realistically fill their many needs with a growing payroll and more holes than answers.

If you love Mets baseball, offseason rumors, fan reactions, and a little chaotic energy… you’re in the right place.
