Dan Murphy was baptized October of 1982 at the University Church of Christ. Dan became a member at the Northwest Church of Christ in 1983, and a Deacon for the congregation he still serves in 2000. Dan has done mission work in Thailand. ‭‭

Donald MacDonald is my father and he was baptized January 1st, 1989. Don has been at the Northwest Church of Christ for 18 years and has served in various roles as a Deacon for 10 years.

Don is Alec's Grandfather and he was baptized in 1949. Papa Don became a Deacon in 1960 at the Grand Junction Church of Christ. In 1979 he was appointed an elder at the Montrose Church of Christ.

2 Timothy‬ ‭2:2‭‭ “The things which you have heard from me in the presence of many witnesses, entrust these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.”

Adam was Baptized in 2009 and entered into ministry in 2010 by assisting his local preacher with evangelistic efforts and bible studies. In 2015 he began his first full time preaching position at the Calhan Church or Christ. Adam has been with the Gunnison Church of Christ since February of 2021. Adam holds a degree from Bear Valley Bible Institute.

Mr. Eriksen is an Elder at the Pikes Peak Church of Christ. He was baptized in July of 1985 in Mountain Home, Idaho. John joined the Pikes Peak Church of Christ in 1998 and was appointed as an Elder in 2007. Mr. Eriksen has a great story and we are so very excited to share it with you.

Grady Miller is the pulpit minister at Pikes Peak Church of Christ. He was baptized October, 1964. Grady has preached at just about every sized congregation there is and has been at it since 1970 (that's 50 years). Grady has been with Pikes Peak since 2001. He holds two degrees; one from Freed Hardeman and a masters from Southern Christian University. Grady has worked with missions reaching out to small congregations in the south and has been involved with the mission on the Navajo reservation for a number of years.

This is a Podcast started out of curiosity and a need to start my journey in ministry. My goal is to interview ministers of Christ's Church to include: Preachers, Youth Ministers, Elders and Deacons. I want to hear their stories, what called them to serve in their current capacity, and how they went about getting to where they are now. This episode is Alec and myself's testimony cause how can we ask others to do something we are unwilling to do. We hope you join us on this adventure.
