The 2nd Armored Brigade Combat team, 1st Infantry Division, also known widely as ‘The Dagger Brigade,’ has a long and proud history of contributing to European stability.

It's heading to Europe in September as part of the next heel-to-toe rotation of US troops. Their deployment is part of Operation Atlantic Resolve, demonstrating a continued US commitment to European security. The Dagger Brigade will be away from their base in Fort Riley, Kansas, for nine months.
