On this episode, our young journalist Cristina is thankful to meet star Isabella Gómez because, in just a few years in Hollywood, this one-time English-as-a-Second-Language student is the lead in HBO Max’s “Head of The Class.” She’s playing a high school teacher on her latest project centered around a world, culture, and industry she once never even knew. And many of us still don’t know (Hollywood!). Now Isabella can be seen starring as the lead/head high school teacher Alicia Adams on a major TV Channel. And this isn’t even her first time starring with an award-winning cast in a reboot of a popular American sitcom, on a major platform, with an updated Latinx twist. Cristina loves her work, her style, and, most of all, the advice she must have for all of us. After all, Isabella was just Cristina’s age when she left Medellin, Colombia with her family and an American Dream. How did and does Isabella do it?
