This 30 min Q&A with Prof. Mike Parker Pearson looks into more details about his most recent research on Stonehenge and the Preseli Bluestone site. Mike Parker Pearson is Professor of British Later Prehistory at UCL’s Institute of Archaeology in London. He is also a Fellow of the British Academy and was voted Archaeologist of the Year in 2010 for his research on Stonehenge. He has worked on excavations in many parts of the world, from Madagascar to the Middle East and from North America to Easter Island. Read Article. Hugh Evans is the author of 'The Origin of the Zodiac' (www.originofthezodiac.com) and has rediscovered a stunning landscape 'Star Map' in Gwynedd, North Wales. The features on the ground actually determined the choice of stars for the constellations in the heavens above, echoing the discovery of the Glastonbury Zodiac and others that have been discovered.

Hugh Newman interviews Evans about his research, his hieroglyph interpretation and language translation which helped identify all the features of the present zodiac and circumpolar constellations across the land features of Gwynedd. This information is presented in maps of the ground and star maps correlated with the same in the night sky above. The myths are explained and retranslated, as are the landmarks and the corresponding astrological icons associated with each of the signs of the zodiac, centred around the sacred Mountain of Cadair Idris.

Hugh Newman interviews Howard Crowhurst, author of 'The Megalithic Plan' which looks at advanced 'Astro-Geometry' across ancient Britain and Brittany in France that incorporates Pythagorean triangles, country-spanning alignments, ancient metrology and stunning revelations, often recorded in myth, as to how these megalithic sites were laid out in prehistory. Howard Crowhurst was born in North Wales. He has been living in Brittany since 1986 and has become one of the leading experts on the megaithic monuments of the Carnac area. From 1990 to 2004, he was vice president of the Association Archéologique Kergal and as such he took part in the french TV documentary, Carnac. In 2006, he launched the Summer Solstice in Plouharnel event with the Plouharnel Tourist Office. He founded the ACEM-Association for the Knowledge and Study of Megaliths, whose aim (amongst other things) is to create a 3D computer model of the Carnac megalithic complex.
