In this weeks episode we interviewed Ebony who studied abroad in Bolivia. She is a graduating senior that attends Smith University and majors in Computer Science with a minor in Spanish. She did a program with SIT Multiculturalism Globalization and Social Change for her 2019 spring semester. In this episode we interview Courtney, a graduating senior at Hampton University. She studies Biology on a pre-med track and lived in South Korea for a total of 4 years. She first moved at a young age and then returned during her freshman and sophomore year of high school. Listen as Courtney talks about what it was like being black in South Korea, being a military kid, and some of her travel experiences.

Tomorrow is April 22nd and the 50th anniversary for Earth Day, so in this episode we talk about sustainable travel. Travel essentially relies on burning fossil fuels everything from your flight, to accommodations, and even certain excursions can contribute to climate change and other environmental issues. It’s important that we don’t overlook these issues and take into consideration what our environmental impact will be from the trips we take. She majors in Strategic Communications and minors in Liberal Studies.
