What we got was an awesome clash of styles where the uncontested marks and organised defence of the Dees met the precision and want to take the game on from the Cats. To kick off Gather round for 2024 on a Thursday night,
48,000 packed into Adelaide Oval to see if Adelaide could get their first win of the season. Melbourne had other ideas wanting to make it two wins in Adelaide from two weeks, having handed Port their first loss of the season.
