We're getting closer to seeing many businesses open up in the state of Kentucky, and that means that we won't be long before we're spending less time at home. But that doesn't mean we should be any less concerned with having healthy relationships with our families.

We have all lost something due to the coronavirus. Some of us have lost family members or friends. Some of us have lost jobs and financial security. Some of us have lost milestone moments like graduations or weddings.

After weeks of social distancing, we're all starting to feel at least a little friction in our relationships at home. This week, we're going to continue to talk about why we're experiencing some of this friction and what we can do about it.

It's been over a month since we started social distancing. And spending so much time at home is starting to cause some friction in our relationships. So starting this Sunday, we're going to be talking about some things that we can all do to have healthier relationships at home.

Easter is going to be a lot different this year. Instead of getting up, putting on our Sunday best, and driving to our church; we're going to be celebrating the news that Christ is risen through our computer screens.

That may leave you feeling like it isn't really Easter. But it's at times like these that we need the good news of Easter the most because Easter means that the worst things are not the last things...and God is not finished yet.

On Good Friday, Jesus finds himself abandoned by his disciples, isolated inside of Pilate's palace, and alone awaiting his execution.

Right now, we can all relate to feeling abandoned, isolated, and alone. But, during this week's service, we'll see how God used a man named Simon to show us that we are never alone.

In Matthew 16, Jesus tells us what we have to do to follow him. We have to deny ourselves daily and take up our cross and follow him. But what does that mean for us in this time of social distancing? That's what we're talking about in this week's sermon.

We're two weeks into social distancing to try to stop the spread of the coronavirus, and we're all wondering when life will get back to normal.

We believe that life will get back to normal, but we still have to be able to live out our faith where we're at today. That's what we're talking about in this service: how we can live out our faith where we are today.

With the spread of COVID-19, the world around us has changed over the last week. Sporting events have been canceled, grocery stores have been emptied, the stock market has been plunging.  

So how are people of faith supposed to live in light of everything that has happened in the last week? That's what we're talking about in this sermon.
