The New Testament is made of of 27 books covering everything from the life of Jesus to the spread of Christianity in the decades after Jesus’ resurrection. But what exactly happens in the New Testament? God shows us who he is and who we are, and God calls us to be who he made us to be.

Just about everyone knows at least a story or two from the Bible. But how can you possibly explain what happens in a book that contains so many people and stories? You take it one section at a time. And by exploring each section of the Bible you can learn what happens and how it shapes your journey of faith today.

The majority of the Bible takes place in Israel, but have you ever wonderwd why? God didin't chose Israel by accident, he had a purpose and a plan that help us understand who God is.

It's been said that every good story needs a villain...and there is no greater villain than Judas. Judas betrayed Jesus, and we could never imagine doing that.

But we do. We betray Jesus all the time. And we'll never grow closer to Jesus if we can't see ourselves as another Judas.

On the night of his last supper, Jesus gathered with his disciples to observe Passover. What is Passover about? How did Jesus and his disciples celebrate it? What does it mean for us today?

It means that God keeps his promises.

We pick up a lot of dirt in our day to day life. We pick up the dirt of anger, jealousy, pride, selfishness; and before we know it this dirt gets caked onto our souls.

And the only one who can clean our souls is Jesus.

Worship is what we do when we recognize that God is reaching out for us. But how good of a job do you do when it actually comes to worship? You can't just assume that you've got it covered...you have to examine yourself and make sure you are really worshiping God.

Worship must make our priorities line up with God's priorities. So what are God's priorities? God comes first, other people come second...and you come last.

What do you do if your priorities don't line up with God's? Commit to change.

Worship is what we do when we recognize that God is reaching out for us. We respond to this through praising God and wanting to be in God's presence. But how can we be in God's presence when we're constantly distracted?
