Melinda Gainsford Taylor was a star Australian Sprinter in the 100 and 200 metres and represented Australia at the Commonwealth Games in the 1990s and was part of the team that represented Australia in Sydney 2000. She has won World Indoor titles and had the same coach, the legendary Jackie Byrne from 8 until retirement, who had played a big part in her life.
