Melissa has 3 children, Hennie her eldest is autistic, he was diagnosed as severe, non-verbal and low functioning. Melissa talks about having to fight her local authority to get the correct provision that suits his individual needs. Melissa took the local authority to a tribunal, even though winning the case, the fight continues. Melissa has spent a fortune on the tribunal as well as paying privately for Hennie’s therapies.
