The Giants minor league teams have a ton of depth and have been playing some good ball. Eugene and San Jose are pretty stacked with a lot of the Giants top prospects. They talk about the rule this year about not being able to call up a player to the big league team from Double A. Melissa talks about the latest plans in the minors to crack down on pitchers using illegal substances on the baseball. They talk about the Giants making a trade for former A's catcher Bruce Maxwell and where he might fit in the Giants future plans. And they talk about Sam Long and how the Giants might have big plans for Sam after calling him up to start vs the Rangers.
