Day 1. The start of my darkest days.

9:47 A.M. October 26, 2022. Completely blinded sided by the messaged I received. Was I just being naive? Did I not see the signs? Confused and hurt is indeed an understatement. Felt like doing harm to myself. This by far was the hardest journal entry to do and the hardest episode for me to record. Exactly two months of being together and it was over just like that.

Hostile - Having or showing ill will; unfriendly; antagonistic. Things seemed to be going great after a nice evening out having food and drinks. Questionable actions seem to arise the following day and days to come. Is it possible to be too concerned about someone?

After asking this question and not receiving the answer I’d like to hear my emotions get the best of me and things start to get rocky. Definitely terrible timing with me going on a mini vacation a few days later. So returning back home from being out of town for a few days Katie and I meet up at the beach to have THIS TALK. Things from 6 years ago, social media posts, and communication issues all brought up during this moment shared at the beach.

If you ask the wrong questions, you'll probably get the wrong answer, or at least not quite what you want to hear. Now in a relationship with my long time friend Katie things begin to “pick up steam” getting introduced to new things, first time experiences, getting intimate. These times seem to be going great. It was on that one night in the heat of the moment I ask this one question which I probably regret asking.

August 26, 2022. The day things changed for the better. The day we moved onto the next stage in our relationship after 2701 days. 7 years, 4 months, 22 days to be exact.
