During the COVID-19 pandemic, Lyle is separated from his wife who is dying of complications of Dementia and Parkinsons. His life and her celebration are day to day for Lyle and his family. After this interview, Linda passed away. Still looking ahead to another sit down with Lyle to hear about the celebration. 

So great to have been shepherded by Dan in the early 2000. My wife and daughter both cared for by him. I took a trip to Ashville North Carolina to sit with him and talk about, what else, the lives of men. He put a lot of hard stuff on the table about men, living a lifeless ministry, hurting deeply, and a very prophetic look at house churches and our need for opening our homes for the love of others. Enjoy!

When you have that one friend for no other reason than to keep you in the GOOD. I mean that. We all have friends that have a specific role. People have different gifts and different skills that we call on when we are in different phases of life.  Jeff Sheets of Sheets Electrical Contracting has been an all purpose friend. There isn’t a space in life that I wouldn’t include Jeff. I can't explain it, it’s just the truth.
