Nate and Jonathan have a few announcements.

Hi!  We've been gone sometime and we have been a bit behind.  This is the first episode of the second season.  After messing with each other for a couple minutes we talk about the hymn writers and the hymnal we like.  We then read the text of the hymn and go through it considering the words to the beautiful hymn "Just as I am."

We apologize for the delay in recordings, this is because of a busy schedule and we finally had time to sit down and enjoy, we asked that you do the same for this episode.  In this episode we talk about how we should think about music, especially the music we use in the church.

This week, we open the Word and explain the importance of evangelism and what it should mean to Christians.  Jonathan goes through the Psalm 19 and Romans 1 to explain how we all see general revelation, then goes on to explain what to do with Special Revelation.  We are entrusted with the Gospel, we need to bring it to the world!

Our final episode of the Baptist distinctive series, this focuses on 1 Timothy 3 and looking at the qualifications of the Elder and Deacon.

We combine Two Distinctives into this episode (bapTistS).  We combined them because for most churches you must be a Baptized, Born again Believer (Saved), so they flow into each other.  The Two Ordinances are Baptism (Full immersion) and Communion (with a discussion on the use of Alcohol in Communion).
